Find the model and serial number
Look for a label inside the door or lid, on the back, or behind the kick plate. A phone photo is perfect.
Note what's happening
When did it start? Any error codes, noises, leaks or smells? The more detail, the faster the diagnosis.
Check the simple things
Make sure it's plugged in, the breaker hasn't tripped and water valves are open.
Clear the way
Give our technician room to pull the appliance out and access the area around it.

How do I schedule a repair?
Call (850) 763-0656 and press 2 for the service desk during business hours, or send a service request from our contact page and we'll reply during office hours. Have your appliance's brand, model number and a description of the problem ready.
Do you repair appliances in Panama City Beach and Lynn Haven?
Yes. Our service vans cover most of Bay County, Florida, including Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, Parker, Springfield, Southport, Youngstown, Bayou George and Fountain. Call (850) 763-0656 and press 2 for the service desk to confirm your address.
Can you fix my appliance the same day?
Often, yes. We stock the largest inventory of appliance parts in the area, so in many cases the part your appliance needs is already in our van or on our shelves. Repairs that need a special-order part are finished as soon as it arrives.
Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?
No. Service calls are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We do not offer emergency, weekend or after-hours service calls.
How does a home-warranty repair work?
Call your home-warranty provider first to open a claim. Your provider assigns the service call to Independent Appliance, you pay only your deductible, and we invoice the warranty company directly.
